Finnish School families get access to resources to continue learning and enjoying Finnish culture.
Library
Families can check out Finnish language books and movies during the Finnish School from our volunteer librarian.
S-kioski
Families can buy Finnish candy, including salmiakki, from the Suomi Koulu Kioski (S-kioski) during Finnish School lunch. The name S-kioski is a play on the name R-kioski which is a chain of convenience stores found across Finland. All proceeds from the S-kioski help fund the school.

Shirts and Tote Bags
The 2024 "Shirts and Balloons" style Finnish School Shirt is available while supplies last to purchase in person at events where Portland Finnish School is fundraising.
Additional shirt and tote bag designs are available on demand from on Cotton Bureau. These custom designs are created by DesignerGeeking, who is one of our Portland Finnish School parents. All proceeds from the sale of the designs created for Portland Finnish School are donated to Portland Finnish School.
